Egusi with Assorted Meat
Spinach with ground melon seeds, spices, stockfish, crayfish and assorted meat.
Kitchen 234 brings egusi, jollof and fire-grilled tilapia to East Anderson Lane - cooked slow, seasoned deep, and served the way home tastes.
Two-three-four is Nigeria's country code - a small number that carries a whole homeland. At Kitchen 234, we bring that homeland to Austin one pot at a time: egusi simmered with stockfish and crayfish, jollof rice smoked over open flame, croaker fish crisped golden and paired with plantain. Every plate is generous, rooted, and made the way our grandmothers taught us. Pull up a chair. Eat until you're happy.
Six plates that carry Lagos, Ibadan and the whole coast into Austin. Every one served fresh, hot, and heaped.

A rich Nigerian stew with spinach, peppers, palm oil and spices - vibrant and hearty.
I loved everything I ordered. The Egusi with assorted meat was really nice and the pounded yam was smooth and the right level of softness. The meat pie was also delicious. My food was well packaged and everything looked clean. My only recommendation will be to reduce the oil used in preparing the egusi, but other that I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Thank you!
My friends and I usually get the Rice and beans with pepper sauce and it's amazing, every time. I love the consistency, please keep it up. Definitely recommend 100% and I would be trying out some other dishes
